The IQNsiders 2016 Forecast: A Packing Guide for our Attendees

In just 7 short days, we will be gathering for the best contingent workforce management event in the country, IQNsiders 2016 at the JW Marriott, Washington, D.C., Wednesday, April 27 to Friday, April 29.

We have attendees coming from far and wide, including a few special visitors from across the pondfrom the United Kingdom, Germany and Netherlands. After one of our customers asked about bringing a winter coat and boots, I thought it would be helpful to put together a few packing tips.

Here are my top 5 packing tips to prepare for IQNsiders 2016:

TIP #1  DRESS COMFORTABLY
We’re an informal bunch at IQNsiders, and we’re not the sort to impose a dress code. Wear whatever makes you comfortable, but you can’t go wrong with business casual.

TIP #2  HAVE A SWEATER AND LIGHT JACKET HANDY
We are expecting great spring weather, but be prepared as temperatures can drop. We also encourage you to bring a sweater as our general assembly and breakout session rooms can get a little chilly.

TIP #3  PACK COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES
Plan to be on the move! We will be hosting several walking tours of the national monuments.

TIP #4  KEEP A PHOTO ID ACCESSIBLE
You won’t need a photo ID just for travel. Be prepared to present identification on excursions to the local government historic sites.

TIP #5  BRING A CAMERA
For some, this may be your first time visiting the sights of Washington, D.C. Bring a camera so you can capture the memories of the cherry blossoms and your visit to the local monuments.
